Going to New York!

Going to New York!
By Santiago • Issue #17 • View online
In a couple of weeks, I’ll take some time off work. It will be my first vacation since the summer of 2019. 😷
I’ll keep writing, but I’ll try to stay away from anything that resembles work. I want to disconnect and spend time with my family.
I’m going to New York. The city will certainly give new inspiration and set the tone for the second half of the year.
I’m really looking forward to it!

A guide to start with machine learning
I’m obsessed with helping people get started.
If you are a software developer, this will give you a step-by-step guide on how to take your first few steps.

Beginners guide to start with machine learning.

What you need:

1. A programming language
2. A place to write and run code
3. A way to deal with data
4. A way to visualize results
5. A cool algorithm
6. An introductory course
7. A project to solve

Here are my recommendations.
Questions you should be able to answer
This is a quick summary of how I’m currently doing machine learning interviews.
Before: Many false-positive candidates. A lot of wasted time.
After: Most candidates are outstanding. The entire process is much more efficient.
And, of course, you can see the 10 questions I’ve been asking candidates.

10 machine learning questions you should be able to answer.

I started experimenting with a questionnaire before interviewing candidates. Applicants submit a video or written answers to apply for the position.

Thread: Let's look at 10 of these questions.
Answers to your questions
Part of the content I’m writing every week is directly answering the questions you have sent my way.
